In this course we are going teach you how to build your own Open to Buy System.

Before you begin this course it is assumed that you:

1. Understand the basic concepts of merchandise planning in retail.
2. Have access to a standards compliant web browser (e.g. Firefox).
3. Have access to a PC running Windows 7 on which you can load the Jedox Palo software.
4. Have access to Microsoft Excel 2007.
5. Understand the basics of software installation.
6. Have a good level of understanding of Excel formulae.
7. Are motivated to create a cost effective and flexible merchandise planning application.
8. Have a sense of humour. After all we might be testing it over the next few days.
